What subjects do you tutor?

Maths, English and history for KS2-KS3 (usually ages 7-14).

Do you do one to one lessons?

Yes, there are limited one to one lesson slots.

Are you seeing children face to face?

I only offer online tuition at this time. I find children respond well, maintain engagement and make the most of the time available.

What is your availability?

I have daytime lessons Tuesday-Friday and after school Tuesday-Thursday. Open slots will vary, so please contact me or sign up on the Tutor Services page to view my calendar.

How does this work online?

Sessions are held over Zoom, which is very easy to use. You will receive an invite once payment is made. I use Bitpaper as an interactive whiteboard, as well as Google Docs for written work in English and history.

Can I have a free trial?

I do not offer free lessons. However, I am happy to arrange a discovery call to discuss your child’s needs before booking. As I feel it is important to work with a tutor you feel comfortable with, the first lesson is paid for and booked on its own with no commitment to continue.

What are your fees?

After school: £45

Daytime: £38

Daytime Groups: £10

What are your qualifications?

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary (Primary) Education from the University of Arizona where I graduated with honours. During my teacher training, I was nominated as an Outstanding Student Teacher.

After my training, I came to England and obtained Qualified Teacher Status and completed my Induction. I have worked as a class teacher in Hampshire and West Berkshire, with most of my experience in KS2.

I continue to develop professionally in order to meet the needs of the children.

What experience do you have with home education?

I have worked primarily with home educated families since 2020. Some have followed unschooling and never been in school, while others take a more structured approach. I have loved being part of the community! I tend to focus on the children’s interests and work on problem solving skills rather than rote memorisation.
